Across the Line - A seminar to empower migrant groups and ethnic minorities in developing European projects

It is a concern for all National Agencies to open the Youth in Action program of the European Commission for all young people and youth organizations, particularly to reach better people from different cultural and ethnic minorities in international projects. Objectives • To develop and support cooperation on international projects as well as cross-communities partnerships on local level • To share practice between minority representatives in order to initiate common projects • To inform about the Youth in Action programme and its opportunities • To develop skills in managing international projects Target group New comers of the European “Youth in Action” programme from cultural and ethnic minorities together with experienced users of the programme. Profile of participants: - migrants and people from ethnic minorities active in the youth field - representatives of migrant organizations or ethnic groups with and without experience in Youth in Action - European cultural coaches from local level, already promoting Youth in Action and being in contact with migrant communities and other cultural groups of young people - people with experience in cross-communities projects with migrants or ethnic minorities - interested in building cross-community projects on local or international level - people and organizations working with cultural and ethnic minorities
