PROMOTING LEGALITY, PREVENTING JUVENILE CRIME
Study Visit
7-14 October 2012 | Palermo, Italy
A visit aimed to share knowledge and experiences on working in youth crime prevention with different tools and methodologies. Experience of dealing with the issue in Italy will be shown and explored with local and international stakeholders.
The project aims to foster the role of civil society organization in dealing with juvenile crime prevention and promote civic commitment and culture of legality. The study visit will involve participants, speakers and staff persons from 10 partners organization from 7 different countries (BE, DE, ES, FR, IT, LV, TR).
They will take part in several activities aimed to give a wide perspective on activities run by law enforcement system, civil society organizations, schools, social companies and other stakeholders of the Antimafia movement.
Special attention will be put on presenting the co-operation between different bodies dealing with youth crime prevention, in order to facilitate the exchange of good practices and promote better co-operation at European level.
All participants will have the possibility to present activities run in their country and will have the chance to build new potential partnership aimed to develop common activities of non formal education, active citizenship promotion thus empowering youth crime prevention system.
The whole project will be run in Palermo, Italy in october 2012, lasting 6 days.

Costs
Fondazione Falcone will cover 100% of board and lodging and 90% (not 70%) of travel costs.
