Training course on the new European Strategy “Investing and Empowering young people” and how it can influence our daily youth work in local and European level
Theme of the training course: European Youth Strategy and its challenges and good practice. Youth projects in local and European level based on the objectives of the Strategy. Youth in Action programme as tool for implementing objectives of the Strategy. The overall aim of the training course: To gain deeper knowledge on European Youth Strategy as main direction of youth work to 2018 in local and European level. Experienced youth workers, trainers and project managers share their point of views, experiences and practices concerning the Strategy. Inventing tools and projects based on the needs of their target groups along the Strategy. Learning objectives of the training course are: - To raise understanding on the objectives of new European Youth Strategy “Investing and Empowering”; - To foster understanding of its main objectives as education, employment, creativity and entrepreneurship, health and sport, participation, social inclusion, volunteering, youth and the world. - To exchange experiences and good practice on local and international youth activities based on the objectives of the Strategy then to discover and explore its challenges. - To prepare a recommendation on possible tools and projects in order to put the Strategy into practice. The methodology of the training course: The training course will be based on methodology of non – formal education. As our participants are experts on the youth work field and working with different European youth projects e.g. YIA programme, we will use absolutely participative methods as OSM (Open Space Methodology), workshops run by participants, presentations of good practices, project development, etc. Who can participate in the training course? - Above 18 and there is no upper age limit; - Youth workers, trainers, project managers directly working with young people, having experience of working with different European youth projects as YIA programme; - Ready to take part in the whole seminar and take facilitator role for certain workshop; - Be able to communicate English.

Costs

The food and accommodation will be provided and paid by the organizers. 70% of travels costs will be reimbursed either by bank transfer after the course or at the end of the course in cash (in Euros €). It may be that money from European Commission will be late; in that case, as mentioned, you will get your reimbursement after the course by bank transfer (be ready for that). There is 30EUR participation fee!
