How to Get in the Game - Strengthening Young Creative Entrepreneurship

The training course brings together creative young people, youth workers and entrepreneurs in order to explore how creative / artistic young people can find a way into work / entrepreneurship.
Target groups: Youth and social workers, youth leaders Creative young people with an artistic idea or project Social and creative entrepreneurs Aims: Youth- and social workers will gain an enhanced understanding of youth initiative and entrepreneurship and how to support it gain tools/methods for coaching youth entrepreneurship be able to identify existing resources for the young creative entrepreneurs, like local funding, EU funding, other relevant project ideas manage to facilitate the process of identifying, supporting and developing the creative young persons Entrepreneurs will gain recognition for their company as contributor to community development since their participation and contribution will be promoted through social media learn more about zeitgeist from the youth promote their work to the next generation of fellow entrepreneurs Creative young persons will gain an enhanced understanding of entrepreneurial behavior become familiar with the process from a creative idea to a concrete income get familiar with the mindset of a hard working entrepreneur - what does it take to succeed? be able to identify their own needs for realizing their creative ideas and gain motivation and skills to fulfill them The bonus effect of three target groups The training will provide the common ground needed to create network and can be used for creating new ideas and projects and also future co-operations. Training methodology: working collectively non formal and interactive creative sessions (during the Open Space technology) sharing experiences and examples of good practice visits to good practice examples in Berlin reflection / evaluation Participants should be: Youth and social workers, youth leaders or Creative young people with an artistic idea or project or Social and Creative Entrepreneurs able to communicate and work in English of age (18+) residents of any of the Programme countries

Costs

This project is financed by the Youth in Action Programme. Being selected for this course, all costs of participation in the course (accommodation, travel, visa, etc.) will be covered by the NAs involved in this project - except a participation fee which varies from call to call and country to country. Please contact your sending NA to find out, if and how travel costs are reimbursed and which participation fee is required.
