This Contact Making Seminar provides you an opportunity to explore deeper the youth participation practice in Europe, find the partners and improve the young people´s participation at local level through the Action 1.3 Youth Democracy Project!

This International Contact Making Seminar provides you an opportunity to explore deeper the youth participation practice in Europe, find the partners and improve the young people´s participation at local level through the Action 1.3 Youth Democracy Project! The Action 1.3 Youth Democracy Project offers you the unique experience to benefit from the 2 dimensions of the partnership at national and international level as well. Don´t be alone, get the support and make it real with the Youth in Action Programme! AIMS OF THE CONTACT MAKING SEMINAR •Build the international partnership and develop the Youth Democracy Project The objectives: •To raise the knowledge about the Youth Democracy Project •To share the experience and participation practice •To explore the local reality of the youth policy and Youth democracy projects •To strengthen the national partnership •To find the international partners •To develop international Youth Democracy Projects METHODS Non-formal interactive methods: group work, discussion, sharing, intercultural activities, workshops, exchange of experience, theory and practice, exploring the local reality, reflection PROFILE OF PARTICIPANTS The participants: •National partnership – participants representing different organisations/institution from the same country (e.g. nonformal group, NGO, Local/Regional Authorities, Youth Councils) •National partnership is a pair 1 +1 (each representing different organization/institution) •Ready to cooperate in the Youth Democracy Project and sharing together the idea for the future Youth Democracy Project •Both partners are aware of the Youth in Action philosophy and structure •Both partners have the basic knowledge about the Youth Democracy Project (adviced to contact for the preparation the National Agency) •Are willing and able to communicate in English •Have the intention of applying for the Youth Democracy Project TRAINERS TEAM •Miro Droždiak, Slovakia •Iva Havlíčková, Czech Republic Both experienced international trainers with a personal and professional background on this topic

Costs

Training, food, lodging will be fully paid by the Slovak National Agency. Please contact your own National Agency, if they can support your participation and pay your travel costs.
