Activities will include: Lectures,Case studies,Role playing game,Groupwork.
Activities will include: - Lectures: A team of highly qualified senior international experts will participate, in order to ensure high quality of the workshop’s activities. - Case studies: Examples of how elections are run in various countries, how voter education is done. - Role playing game: in order for the participants to experience what happens during an election day in a pooling station. -Focus groups on various issues: Each evening we will debate at dinner a different topic: ex democracy, human rights, EU commitment to democratisation and human rights, personal experiences on electoral education, the implication of civil society. - Social activities museums and touristic attractions of the region. -Group work: Using their creativity and teamwork capacity, a unique learning activity will take place as the participants will have to designing a campaign for stimulating voter education under the close supervision of facilitators and trainers. Moreover this will be the basis of a future partnership program that the group can develop among themselves for wider implementation.

Costs

Workshop Expenses: There is no participation fee. Accommodation and food (breakfast, lunch, dinner) are provided by the organisers.All other expenses, alcoholic drinks, personal expenses are on the participant's charge. Please note that the travel expenses from your departure city to Iasi, will be reimbursed within the limit of 398 EUR based on the least expensive airfare. Please check with us before booking. Note: The travel expenses will be reimbursed only if the participant provides all the invoices and original boarding passes and attends all sessions.
