Share YOUR NA Inclusion Practice

Are you looking for ideas to make inclusion work? Chewing on new concepts? Inventing the wheel for inclusion?
There is no need to start from zero! On this page you will find examples of good practice from other NAs and you can add yours.

Example: Get Involved

Example: from Puzzled to Jigsaw Puzzle

Example: Prisons and Youth in Action

Since many years lots of things are happening in Europe on inclusion. We all know vagely examples of good projects, good concepts, good training,...from other National Agencies, but nobody knows about it. What was it? Was it successful? Did it work?

On a broad request of NAs (on TCP meetings, on the Inclusion Staff Training in 2007, ...) SALTO Inclusion aims to provide you with examples of good practice on inclusion, in order for you to promote this towards project promotors, to "enlight" and inspire your own work and the work of your NA colleagues with good examples.

But ... we need your help with this.

Therefore we would like you to add your examples of good inclusion practice which might be to your opinion of inspiration to other NA colleagues in Europe.

How to do this?

We would like to ask you to do this in the following way:

  • Here you can find empty sheets. Click on the link and find empty sheets for you to fill in with your example of good practice. The content of each sheet is slightly different, related to the specific topic.
  • Try to fill in every section of the sheet. If it is not possible and you don't know or don't have an answer, try to fill in the next question/section of the sheet.

The sheets are divided concerning different relevant themes or topics. You can add example of good inclusion practice on a training course, a TCP activity, a Youth in Action project, a publication or a concept to make inclusion work.

Deadline?

Please send the completed sheets to: Ann Hendriks from SALTO TC Inclusion at , preferably at the latest on 30 th of September 2008.

To help and inspire you...

... we have developed already some existing examples of good inclusion practice in order to help you to understand what we want from you and how it should look like.

You can find the following (existing!) examples of good practice:

The result will be ... ?

The end result will be a practical folder for National Agencies, to download from this SALTO website.

The aim is to...

  • gather examples of good practice - examples of projects, training concepts, different kind of try-outs on inclusion issues, etc.
  • with a description of the concept
  • with an evaluation of the result, if possible

What can you do with it?

  • get some inspiration for your inclusion activities as an NA or inclusion officer
  • promote concepts of good projects towards project promotors
  • inspire your NA colleagues with new ideas who proove to be effective
  • develop your inclusion strategy with inclusion activities
  • amaze your Head of NA with good practices on inclusion

What's the difference with the toolbox?

  • the aim is to add to these examples an evaluation, which indicates what could be improved, or difficulties, or interesting elements, keys for succes
  • it contains a variety of examples, more then tools: it's about trainings, seminars, publications, projects, etc on inclusion

Deadline?

Please send the completed sheets to: Ann Hendriks from SALTO TC Inclusion at , preferably at the latest on 30 th of September 2008. Thank you.
