Call for partners Youth in Action - MotivAction
This is a call for partners for a Training Course organized under the youth in Action framework. The call is open to NGOs active in the field of youthwork and non-formal education from all eligible countries.
Brief project coordinates:
Topic: Personal and Professional Development for Volunteers and YouthWorkers
Duration: 9 days, excluding travel days, includes 2 weekends.
Period: 2-10 November 2013
Location: Skopje, Macedonia
Target group: 4 participants from each NGO. Participants MUST be ACTIVE YOUTHWORKERS. This project is NOT open to travelers, groupies, hitchhikers, course hunters, non-members of the promoter's NGO etc.
Funding: all costs will be covered, except 30% of travel costs. Participants must be able to buy their own tickets in advance.
Application deadline: 12th of January 2013

Selection: We will prefer NGOs who are active in the field of non-formal education/youthwork, familiar with Youth In Action, EVS, Council of Europe etc, are able to make the difference between a youth exchange and a training course and can bring added value to the project. Title: MotivAction
This project is a training course for youth workers from NGOs active in youth projects based o the EquiliTRI Personal Development Method. The target group is formed of 20 youth workers from NGOs from 5 countries. The course duration is 9 days excluding travel days. The project aims to improve the capacity of the partner organizations to motivate and better their volunteers through Personal and Professional Development. The training course is based on a new innovative non-formal education methodology for personal and professional development called The Equilitri Method. The method has been developed in over 10 years of work, tested and piloted in Asia in 2010-2011 and it is now introduced in Europe. Equilitri is a Personal development method meant to help people organize their life, achieve balance, success and happiness, cross over difficulties and challenges.

The projects will help the partner organizations by providing their youth workers with advanced human resources tools for personal development and key competencies in these four areas:
• improving the volunteers time management skills,

URGENT We are looking for partner organization for seminary, Youth in Action 5.1. in Bordeaux (France), from July 9th to 16th 2013
the topic is sport and handicap.
meeting with experts and champions paralympic athletes.
The project has the aim of making it possible to young Europeans to be recipient in the fight against discriminations in the sport with regard to the people in situation of handicap. With this intention, we organize a European meeting which combines the reflection with the action.
Indeed, of the meeting-debates animated by local personalities recognized in the field of the sport, of the handicap, discrimination and youth will allow the young people to exchange on the current reality of discriminations in the sport. It is a question of including/understanding the direction of the word discrimination, its forms of expression, its consequences and of discovering the political answers but also citizens who exist on the territories of the accommodated countries.
The appropriation by the young people of this problem which exceeds the borders will make by the animation of stands specific within the framework of a teaching rallye opened to the general public. This rallye will combine tests handisport with type tests “quizz” to support the reflection in the teams.
Moreover, the young people will be distributed by set of themes work group:
- a group prepares and animates the interviews “microphone-pavements” with the Radio RIG. The objective is of interviewing the individuals in the street on the question of discriminations in the sport.
- a group prepares and animates the sporting tests handi-valid with the Departmental committee handisport. The objective is to make it possible to the young people to share and develop the practice valid-handicapped person near the general public.
- a group prepares and animates the restitution of the deliberations of the week with Association With the Colors of the DEBA. The objective is to develop and make visible the debates and exchanges of the week between young Europeans and the speakers.
-a group prepares and animates the concert for the national day (close the day of the rallye)
The characteristic of this project is due to the fact that the group of young Europeans will be composed valid people and people with disabilities to learn how to live together beyond our differences.
Thus, by this project the young people will pass from the statute of learning to that from transmitter by animating specific workshops (interviews, tests and restitution of work).

The Youth Center of the Municipality of Somma Lombardo, Italy, Lombardy region, we’ll like to be hosted on a youth exchange (1.1 or 1.2) in 2013 (deadline 1st may 2013) and host other partners in 2014. We are looking for participants for a youth exchange project set in Valencia, Spain, from the 16-23 of September.
The title of the project is "Cultural Shock" and the theme of the project is culture, and the activities include workshops, international cooking, crafts and debates. The participants will also learn how to make a "falla", which is a specific craft of the Valencian region.
