  • Brief description of the project

    We would like to meet with a group similar to ours from another country to share what works best in youth democracy, to learn from them, and also to explore interesting new ways for young people’s voices to be heard, particularly using social media.

YOUTH DEMOCRACY PROJECT 1.3
Theme: promotes young people’s active citizenship in general and their European citizenship in particular.
  • Brief description of the project

    The project aims to enhance democracy by fostering active participation of young people and volunteering. The project will take place in Targu Jiu, Gorj, for a period of four months and will involve three European countries.

    The main activities of the project aim to achieve the project objectives. Thus, through workshops“democracy in my country”, “why should I get involved”, public café - participatory democracy, forum theatre-“Speak-up!”, information campaign on democracy and cultural activities, we want to encourage young people's attitudes to be active and participatory towards democratic mechanisms, to involve young people in specific local activities so that they develop skills and habits of democracy, active citizenship, social and civic rights.

    The main feature of the project is the main way of accomplishing the objectives, is to use innovative and participative methods of working and focused mainly on non-formal education, such as: energizing games, team building, discussion, games role, creative expression, the method Open Space Technology, public café, forum theater, library library or SMART method.

    The project aims to guide young people to conduct civic activities through which they can express themselves and act on issues which affect them directly and mainly to realize that they can be a positive factor for change and development of a society.

YOUTH DEMOCRACY PROJECT 1.3
Theme: promotes young people’s active citizenship in general and their European citizenship in particular; fosters mutual understanding between young people in different countries.
  • Brief description of the project

    The project will discuss several types of election thresholds that are applied in general elections. After a training session addressing institutions and methods of representative democracy, youth parties from various European countries will discuss pros and cons of election threshold system, and mutually design a better system for all. We are looking for partner organizations from countries that possess varying degrees of election threshold (eg. Turkish representative system dictates above 10 percent of general votes for a political party to gain seats in national parliament).

YOUTH DEMOCRACY PROJECT 1.3
Theme: promotes young people’s active citizenship in general and their European citizenship in particular.
  • Brief description of the project

    The purpose of this project is about strengthening democracy in the county so that the main objectives of the project aims to:
    - fostering active citizenship among young 1000 Gorj county;
    - Increasing awareness on the concept of democracy: democratic rights, decision making, mechanisms of functioning of democracy, civic responsibilities;
    - creation of a viable forms of interaction between young people from Romania and those from other countries partners;
    - raise awareness among young people from two schools and the local community in Gorj, democratic rights and obligations;
    - Encouraging youth involvement in decision-making process at local level bypromoting values ​​and civic activities;
    - development of responsible behavior problems from their communities;
    - Increasing awareness of the context of European democratic and developing emotions of belonging to the European Union;

    At the end of  this project we wish to reduce the deficit level of information and communication among young people, to acknowledge young people about the importance of civic participation and in particular to remove the passive attitudes of non-involvement in civic activities. Activities performed within the project will focus on youth involvement in specific activities of non-formal education aimed mainly at developing civic skills, thus we intend to increase young people's sense of social utility and their desire to act in social change.

    The project has as main priorities : European citizenship, youth participation, and social inclusion of young with small possibilities.

    The Conseil général des Jeunes, a deliberative assembly of young people (aged 13-14) in Nice, France, promotes actions to foster respect between teenagers, specialy through health. They will realize a prevention and sensitization campaign of peer education: communication supports (bill, video clip..), creation of a show of dance and slam…

  • Brief description of the project

    The project will take place in Romania and will involve 18 young participants with age between 19 and 24 years old. The objective is to develop the right positive attitude and to stimulate the youngster‘s capacity to participate to the democratic system performing as active citizens. The cultural forum will give  the opportunity to the young people to present their native.

  • Brief description of the project

This project concerns a group of young dancers who seek to promote their art and also to share others associations or festivals or dance schools around the world. We are looking for a partnership to create an exchange of cross-cultural dance around. More we would like to discover a traditional Estonian folk danceand culture. This project should take place in the spring of 2012 for the first part and in june 2012 for the second. We will study all the proposals.

  • Brief description of the project

The project will be in relation with the notion of Europe (transborder countries: France, Belgium and Luxembourg) which will bring kids, people with disabilities and old people together on the theme of sport and culture. The intention of the event is to defend values such the solidarity between generations, the respect of the differences, citizenship and popular education.

We want each group of participants (European and French) to create something through workshops that are planned for the project and something else which they would find ideas for and create by themselves in order to have also a personal part of creation within the project. A documentary introduced the different steps of the preparation of the event will be realized when the project is done.

  • Brief description of the project

    ·      Make an internet magazine which can raise awareness, stimulate and form a new attitude, regarding water pollution( especially the Danube and its habitat).

    ·      Create work and journalistic communication teams;

    ·      Use mainly non-formal techniques and methods;

    ·      Develop and encourage the so called ‚eco’ behaviour among youg people, necessary for the construction of a non-polluted and non-polluting Europe.
