EastWestEVS Training Course

SALTO EECA supports EVS development already since 2004. First training course "EVS 4 U" and further Contact Making Seminars "Yth2" established solid basis for cooperation. After contacts developing phase, our Resource Centre focused on quality building in EVS cooperation between Programme and EECA countries. Since then the "EastWestEVS" trainings are taking place.

Aim

The EastWestEVS trainings aim to enhance quality of EVS projects and in addition wants to stimulate the creation of new partnerships and creative project ideas.

Objectives

• To provide detailed information about the Youth in Action Programme, especially EVS;
• To get to know with possibilities of cooperation between Programme and EECA countries, within EVS;
• To explore specificities in EVS projects between Programme and EECA countries (visas & registration, money transfers, etc.);
• To rise competences of youth workers in EVS projects management;
• To develop the quality and creative approach in organising EVS activities;
• To share understandings of EVS principles - non-formal education, EVS as personal, professional and intercultural learning, etc.
• To bring together youth workers and leaders to create new EVS project ideas within the Youth in Action Programme;
