Network Membership

Decisions on youth workers participation in the Network of Multipliers is done by SALTO EECA (with consultations with National Teams), based on the commonly developed criteria.

 

Criteria for joining the Network

The members of the Network are persons who:

• express commitment towards the mission and purpose of the Network;
• express their commitment to work on voluntary basis;
• act on behalf of organizations working with youth and using non-formal education approach;
• have support from those organizations;
• have experience in organizing and coordinating at least 2 projects in their country in the framework of Youth in Action Programme (hosting those projects);
• are committed to cooperate with the existing National Team of Multipliers;
• live in the country which they represent;
• are able to communicate in English;
• Involving a new person into the Network by SALTO should be consulted with the National Team.

 

Criteria for remaining in the Network

To remain in the Network the members of the network should:

• organize multiplying activities beside regular projects supported by the Youth in Action Programme;
• not miss more than 2 National Team meetings (held face to face or in virtual space);
• actively participate in the National Team meetings and, in case of being delegated, also in the Meeting of the Network representatives;
• each 6 months discuss and evaluate the multiplying activities within the National Team (in person or virtually);
• each year be active within the Youth in Action Programme (for example: hosting/sending coordinator of projects, trainer, mentor, etc);
• conduct activities on the national/local levels according the rules agreed within the National Team;
• inform SALTO and he National Team of Multipliers in case of leaving the country for more than 6 months;

 

Criteria for being excluded from the Network

The reason for excluded a member from the Network can be:

• a breakdown of communication for more than 6 months;
• not fulfilling the criteria for remaining in the Network.

 

Even though the Network is now fully operational it remains open for every youth worker from EECA region, who is experienced in Youth in Action Programme, meets the above mentioned criteria and wish to join the Network.
