Responding to agencies' needs, we always keep one foot on the ground to ensure our activities have grassroots youth work as a core element.

  • Roma

    Roma remain one of the most disadvantaged minority groups in Europe and face highest rates of unemployment, lowest levels of education, widespread poverty, and social exclusion. Roma are a priority for the Youth in Action programme and SALTO Cultural Diversity.

  • Peace Education and Conflict Management

    Looking at recent history, the present political and social situation all over Europe makes it obvious that Conflict Management and Peace Education are important issues, especially for young people.

  • Intercultural Competence

    Intercultural Competence is one way of bringing Cultural Diversity down to grassroots level and make it a really tangible topic. Part of the Lifelong Learning Social Competence, Intercultural Competence is useful and fitting for the life and work skills required in European youth work today.

  • Intercultural and Inter-religious Dialogue

    Cultural Diversity issues involve an ongoing process of discovering and mutual understanding. Intercultural and Inter-religious Dialogue is an open and respectful exchange of views between individuals and groups with different ethnic, cultural, religious, and linguistic backgrounds and heritage.

  • Inclusion of Cultural Minorities

    Cultural Diversity brings enrichment only if majority and minority groups can share and discover each other's on an equal basis. That's why SALTO Cultural Diversity works on inclusion and empowerment of cultural minorities through international youth work.

  • Cultural Diversity in Youth Projects

    SALTO Cultural Diversity can support you when developing Cultural Diversity projects and training. We offer you training modules and a vast range of activities, methods, and project management tips.
