Interregional seminar for multipliers

After five national training courses for multipliers this seminar was an opportunity for sharing their experiences and practices amongst them

During five days (from September 7th-12th, 2004) 40 multipliers from Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Syria, Palestine, Jordan and Lebanon met in Beirut.

Aims and Objectives:

This course aimed at evaluating and developing the role of multipliers and creating a network

The following concrete objectives have been set in order to reach the aims at described above:

• To evaluate the participants experiences as multipliers;
• To develop a charter for multipliers, identifying clearly rights and duties of multipliers;
• To identify needs and expectations for a fututre development;
• To test, analyse and add tools to the EuroMed Training Bag.

Programme Elements:

Following the above mentionned objectives the main elements of the programme were:

• Getting to know each other
• Introducing the wy of working
• Exchanging experiences and sharing good practices
• Presentation of the EuroMed Training Bag followed by a deep test phase
• Defining the role of multipliers in todays poltical frame
• Evaluation of the seminar
