Aims & Objectives of the Inclusion StrategyThis "Inclusion Strategy" aims to ensure the accessibility of the "Youth in Action" programme for young people with fewer opportunities, and to stimulate its use to enhance social inclusion, active citizenship and employability of these young people.
Keys For Success for Inclusion ProjectsMany youth workers have already tried out international Youth projects with young people with fewer opportunities. Here is a list of ideas that help make an inclusion project a success.
Recognition and Training for InclusionRecognition and training is an important action in order to increase the quality and effectiveness of inclusion projects. A cross-programme dimension also contributes to the lasting effects of participation in an inclusion project.
Inclusion Guidelines For National AgenciesThe Inclusion Strategy suggests a number of Guidelines for implementation by National Agencies and the Executive Agency in order to have a coherent approach to inclusion accross countries.
Implementation and MonitoringThe Commission, National Authorities and National and Executive Agencies monitor and evaluate the outputs and impact in terms of inclusion and accessibility of the programme.
Non Formal Learning-an opportunity for InclusionNon Formal Learning because of its voluntary nature and link to young people's needs could be an ideal mechanisim for young people with fewer opportunities to find the road to a job or further education.
The Political Context of the Inclusion StrategyInclusion as a priority is well enshrined in a variety of political text. It gives the Youth in Action programme the mandate to be a programme for inclusion - but not only inclusion. Here are some references to political documents.
Examples of Inclusion ProjectsThere have been a wide variety of inclusion projects within the YOUTH programme (2000-2006), which can give inspiration for supporting projects with young people with fewer opportunities in the Youth in Action programme.
