more examples of international Englsih

(louise Chamberlain, 11.02.07 10:10)

Here are a couple more terms I've picked up from teaching business English

a black box = the unknown / a mystery

e.g The job / task was a black box to me

facilitator = trainer / speaker / teacher the person who facilitates learning

Let's keep adding some more or correcting those already in the list, if necessary.

new globish word

(Julia Maria Koszewska, 13.04.07 01:06)

(globish) animator = person that is animating the training/discussion/, simmilar to French word: ANIMATEUR [(fem.:ANIMATRICE) qui anime un groupe de personnes.]

(english) animator = "an artist who creates multiple images called frames that form an illusion of movement called animation when rapidly displayed." (after eng. Wikipedia)
