| Details | The MDGs (Millennium Development Goals) are ambitiously set to be met by 2015 in order to reduce poverty in the world and to increase the quality of life around the globe. They are a joint effort of 189 governments, the EU, all important global institutions, and many civil society actors. Some progress was achieved already in approaching the MDGs BUT far away from the anticipated progress – but the efforts must be multiplied in order to succeed with this important and ambitious project of humanity.
MDG that incorporates issues of: education, women rights, poverty, health, environment, children rights, global partnership and reflect strongly the global interdependencies that are in the world and how the globalization process lead to social injustice towards actions are required.
The main goal of the project is to increase the level of awareness in the area of sustainable development among young Europeans.
It will be address to 30 young people from all over Europe (Europeans and African Diaspora Representatives) that will go through a training course in Romania to become global education multipliers.
More specific objectives of the training course are:
• To increase the knowledge level of young people in topics like: global interdependencies (from cultural, economical and political approach), MDG-s, social and global justice, climate change, consumerism and sustainable lifestyle,
• To create pro-active attitudes towards global issues;
• To encourage participation and involvement of young people in social processes;
• to develop sense of common responsibility for the future of their local communities from a global perspective;
• To develop practical skills in “awareness making” in their own communities;
• To stimulate the participants to act as global education multipliers in their own organization and regions;
• To introduce Youth in Action programme, as a great provider of educational opportunities.

| Costs | Full Board and lodging plus local transportation is covered 100%
70% percent of the international travel to Bucharest will be covered for participants that will participate in all the training activities!!! |

| Organizer's profile/framework of activity | A.R.T. Fusion is a youth organisation that tries to offer a realistic perspective over the struggling problems of our Romanian society nowadays. We want to change the attitudes of the people in our community, together with other society members, to help find solutions to the problems that the community is facing.
A.R.T. Fusion’s Objectives:
- Giving a wider access to information, projects and programmes of personal and/or general interest for children, adolescents and youngsters, as long as these actions prove to be necessary for a harmonious personality development in our Romanian society.
- Rising the degree of involvement of the target group in socio-cultural and artistically activities that are necessary for harmonious personal growth.
- Stimulating a pro-social attitude in children, adolescents and youth.
Methods and activities:
- social theatre : forum theatre, invisible theatre, street theatre, improvisation theatre;
- street animation: clowning, joggling, poi-poi, balloon making, flash-mobs;
- music, dance, photography, spots, films;;
- international projects (youth exchanges, seminars, trainings, EVS);
A.R.T. Fusion’s Mission is to improve social competencies of children, adolescents and youngsters, trough participative arts methods, in order to help them achieve personal growth.
