Training
: Empowering Youth through Human Rights Education (16- 23.09.2007, EYC Strasbourg, France)
Organised by: JECI-MIEC European Coordination, CoE for a period of 6 days.
Description: 1) The main aim of the Study Session was to raise awareness and understanding of the responsibilities citizens have in relation to human rights. It also aimed to empower the participants to take an active role as human rights educators in their own milieu.
In order to achieve this aim during the Study Session, the following objectives were developed:
· to deepen the different approaches to human rights and the mechanisms for their protection
· to analyse the different realities in the societies where participants are coming from and
identify different forms of violation of human rights such as intolerance, discrimination,
disrespect, xenophobia
· to identify and to understand the different components of the human rights culture
· to facilitate participants to find their individual approach to the human rights
· to reflect and identify the responsibilities that are linked with human rights
· to reflect and to identify the Youth key roles as important agents in promoting and
protecting human rights.;
2) target group: young adults aged 18 – 30, catholic youth,
international dimensions: pariticipants were from 17 different countries. However, it is worth noting that many participants were living in a country different from their country of origin.
The participants came from the following countries: Belarus, Chile, France, Germany, Lithuania, Malta, Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, UK, Ukraine, Zimbabwe. Team was composed by 3 trainers (coming from Denmark, France (originally Australia) and Poland) and 1 educational advisor.
3) methodes: non-formal education, informal learning;
4) outcomes: The main aim of the study session was to raise awareness and understanding of the responsibilities citizens have in relation to human rights. It also aimed to empower the participants to take an active role as human rights educators in their own milieu. These aimes were achieved. What's more participants outcomes were on the level of personal learning, intercultural experience as well as learning different tools and gaining knowledge. For the organization the outcomes were practical recomendations for future work as well as proof of the importance of work on the empowerement of youth and in the field of human rights.

: SALTO Cultural Diversity: Faith & Dialogue TC (21-28.04.2007, Belfast, Northern Ireland)
Organised by: SALTO Cultural Diversity for a period of 6 days.
Description: 1) aims & objectives:
The main aim was to increase awareness and understanding of key concepts (such as faith, religion, dialogue and identity) and how they influence dialogue and interaction in a diverse community.
objectives:
to help participants to:
* be more conscious about the influence faith has on identity
* identify and overcome challenges / difficulties / barriers to dialogue
* enhance mediation skills and techniques
* better understand the impact of faith on communication + dialogue
* share experience of case studies + best practices
* increase knowledge on theories and concepts
* take initiative and learn new approaches in handling activities with diverse groups

2) target group:
"*Priority was given to participants, who have grass-roots experience of inter-faith dialogue projects and/or those, who have a need to include it more in their future international youth work. Participants should have the ability to multiply the knowledge back home, be active in an intercultural youth work context and be able to/have support to implement future projects and activities.
Participation was limited to 25-30 participants
Profile of participants:
- are directly involved in youth activities with young people
- have experience of faith projects, and would like to share appraoches and practise with other workers in this field
- are willing to pass on information, skills, knowledge
- are motivated to be an active participant and able to attend the course for its full duration
- are able to communicate and work in English
- are resident in a member state of the European Union, Programme countries and a few places may be available for Neighbouring Country Regions [Euromed, Eastern Europe and Caucasus and South East Europe ]"
team composition: to ensure a balance of knowledge and experience, the training team included a diversity from across Europe.

nonformal education methods, personal learning for participants (and trainers) and networking empowerement and sharing experience, knowledge and ideas.
4) outcomes: aims achieved, participants were to implement the projects they've been working on on the last days, networking continued, report of the TC will be published by SALTO Cultural Diversity.

: 65 years after Auschwitz (25-29.01.2010, Oswiecim-Harmeze, Poland)
Organised by: Maximilian Kolbe Werk for a period of 4 days.
Description: aims and objectives:
- to gain and raise knowledge about the imprisoned and murdered in Auschwitz-Birkenau,
- to promote meetings between people of different nations, cultures, religions and ethnic groups,
- to promote democratic values,
- to raise attention for dangers for human dignity and democracy,
- to motivate to further involvement in civil society activities.

target group: youth (18-29) from Germany, Poland, and other central-European countries (Lithuania, Ukraine, Belarus etc) and Russia
team: from Germany, Poland and Ukraine

outcomes of the activity: aims of the project achieved, the participants have also prepared as outcome a final message, which has been published on Maximilian-Kolbe-Werk.de website.

my tasks: leading a workshop on creative presentation of emotions after visiting the former camp Auschwitz-Birkenau and meeting with former prisoners, co-leading a World Cafe on exclusion and co-leading a session leading to prepare a final message of the meeting.

2010: trainer in seminar "65 years after Auschwitz" organized by Maximilian Kolbe Werk.
2009: after 1 year break of trainer's work, I'm coming back with a training for young people of Central-Eastern Europe which will be taking place in August near Lviv, Ukraine.
2008: break of trainings in order to finalize MA dissertation. The paper was about the role of gift, exchange and information (its role, management and access to information) in modern society on the example of free-hospitality networks. MA degree obtained on September 2008, in December I have started doctoral studies (PhD, 4year long). PhD dissertaition aims to describe the historical education (on example of Holocaust education) in museums and its influence on European indentity.
In 2008 I was continuing work within the Faith-Based Expert Group of YfJ (European Youth Forum) on the publication which was eventually published in December 2008. This is a tkitt for youth groups on inter-religious dialogue (publication available on: http://www.youthforum.org/Downloads/Press_publications/reports/TKit.pdf).
