European Youth Campaign for Diversity, Human Rights and Participation

The European Youth Campaign "All different - All equal", run by the Council of Europe and its Member States in 1995 was a milestone in reinforcing the fight against racism, anti-semitism, xenophobia and intolerance. Now, from June 2006 to September 2007, the Council of Europe will, with the support of the European Union and other partners, organise a new campaign on the themes of Diversity, Human Rights and Participation, based upon the slogan "All Different - All Equal".

Aim:

To encourage and enable young people to participate in building peaceful societies based on human rights, diversity and inclusion, in a spirit of respect, tolerance and mutual understanding.

Target group:

- All young people in Europe between 12-30 years old
- Civil society organisations, both at European and national levels
- Non-governmental youth organisations and youth initiatives
- Schools and other education and training sites
Core partners:
The Campaign is organised and run by the Council of Europe, particularly the Directorate of Youth and Sport (DYS), in partnership with National Campaign Committees, the European Commission, the European Youth Forum, with concerned international organisations and international NGOs, with donors and other key partners who are commuted to the core topics of the campaign.

All different - All equal is the European YOUTH campaign for diversity, human rights and participation launched by the Council of Europe.
Under events you will have a detailed calendar of what is going on in terms of events, seminars and forums today, during the week or in the current month. The recent stuff will give you information on trainings as well as updates and information on events or campaigns.

Eventhough the official 'All Different All Equal'- Campaign came to a formal end (at European level) on 31 December 27 the website will stay up and running in its present form until the end of 2008.
