AimsThe SALTO TC Rural aimed to increase the use of the European Youth in Action programme in the youth work in rural and isolated areas in order to stimulate opportunities for young people in those areas. It was built on participants' own experience, from real life or simulations, and work on concrete projects for the future. The training course also drew upon the experience from external practitioners and lecturers on topics related to rural youth issues and/or the Youth in Action programme. The methods used were non-formal learning-based methods. Programme Elements
